A former at-large member of the DC Council (1997–2015), David Catania chaired the Health Committee for eight years and is widely credited with leading the transformation of the District’s healthcare infrastructure. He was the architect and driving force behind the successful push for marriage equality in DC, cementing his reputation as a champion for civil rights and equality.

Falen is a DC-based LGBTQ+ attorney and founder of ADVOCATE Nonprofit Organization, a 501(c)(3) that provides pro bono legal representation to disabled U.S. veterans. She has served on multiple boards, including Benevole, and has a long history of pro bono work with organizations like the Pro Bono Project and Women in Distress.

Owner of Freddie’s Beach Bar — Arlington’s beloved LGBTQ+ and straight-friendly restaurant and bar — and Federico Ristorante Italiano, Freddie has been a pillar of the Northern Virginia LGBTQ+ community for decades. His contributions have earned him numerous awards and a gubernatorial proclamation recognizing Freddie’s 20th anniversary in 2021.

Your friendly cishet mom reporting for duty. Christina’s love affair with drag began at Nashville’s Play over 15 years ago. She’s since wielded a paintbrush for many a drag set—including the Miss Adams Morgan Pageant. She has managed public relations and branding for nearly a decade at the National Gallery of Art.

A Puerto Rican diva and powerhouse performer, Evry Pleasure is a celebrated fixture of DC’s drag scene. She hosts the award-winning all-Latinx drag show Con Acento and the BIPOC-centered showcase Brown Sugar. Evry has been named Best Drag Performer by the Washington City Paper (2024) and the Washington Blade (2023) and was crowned Miss DC Latinx Pride 2025.

A longtime friend of the Dupont Social Club, Sara is beloved in the DC LGBTQ+ community for her years behind the bar at local institutions like Duplex Diner, Larry's Lounge, and Crush Bar. Her connection to the community and to DSC members makes her a special part of this year’s panel.
